Dr. Frye and her team consider it both a great joy and responsibility to care for children and teens. We are all parents ourselves, so we strive to be understanding and available to the families we are privileged to serve. We have dedicated our careers to the health and well-being of children. Dr. Frye and her staff believe in a team-based approach and collaborate with families, primary care providers, other pediatric specialists, schools and coaches to provide comprehensive care. We also take part in ongoing education in order to provide the most up-to-date care for our young patients.     Stacy Frye, MD

    Dr. Frye is a native of the metro Detroit area. She earned her bachelor’s degree with Honors from the Honors College at Michigan State University and is a graduate of the prestigious MSU Medical Scholars (BS/MD) Program. She completed medical school at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine, where she was awarded the Brian Burke Award for exhibiting “Outstanding Promise in Pediatrics”. Dr. Frye stayed true to her Spartan roots by completing her residency in pediatrics at Michigan State University & Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. As a resident, she was selected by medical students for the MSU-CHM Outstanding Resident Faculty Award in recognition of her dedication and enthusiasm for medical education. After residency, she went on to fellowship training in Non-Operative Pediatric Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (a teaching hospital affiliated with Northwestern University). Upon completion of her training, she worked as a pediatric orthopedist & sports medicine physician in Pennsylvania for 2 years. She returned to Michigan in 2013 and has been excited to build her practice serving the children of the mid-Michigan, Flint & metro Detroit areas.
